Video: What’s the best matchup for the vacant UFC lightweight title?

The UFC lightweight division is without a champion, but that’s expected to change in the near future.

After then-champ Charles Oliveira missed weight by half-a-pound for his title fight with Justin Gaethje at UFC 274, he was stripped of the belt, but he went on to submit Gaethje in a wild first round to solidify himself as the uncrowned champ.

What we know at the moment is that Oliveira is expected to be one half of an upcoming to-be-booked vacant title fight after UFC president Dana White said as much following UFC 274. Who will stand opposite Oliveira remains to be seen, but a list of candidates seemingly would include Islam Makhachev, Beneil Dariush, Michael Chandler, and yes, even Conor McGregor.

Our question: What is the best pairing for the vacant UFC lightweight title? Our “Spinning Back Clique” panel of Mike Bohn, Nolan King and Danny Segura weigh in with host “Gorgeous” George Garcia.
