Former UFC champ Eddie Alvarez a free agent after ‘amicably’ parting with ONE Championship

Eddie Alvarez is available to sign with any promotion after parting ways with ONE Championship.

Alvarez (30-8), a former Bellator and UFC lightweight titleholder, fought just four times under the ONE Championship banner after making his debut with the promotion in March 2019 following his UFC stint.

The 38-year-old hasn’t fought since April 2021, and announced on Tuesday that he’s “amicably” decided to terminate his ONE Championship contract, making him a free agent.
