Belal Muhammad quietly sits at No. 4 in the UFC welterweight rankings and gave a hilarious state of the 170-pound weight class on Twitter.
Leon Edwards holds the welterweight title and former champion Kamaru Usman is the top-ranked contender. Ranked at No. 2 is Colby Covington, Khamzat Chimaev occupies the No. 3 ranking, and Gilbert Burns rounds out the Top 5.
“State of the ww division,” Edwards wrote. “Leon’s tryin to avoid Usman. [Jorge] Masvidal is avoiding Gilbert. Colby’s avoiding khamzat. Khamzat avoiding his nutritionist. Conor [McGregor] is avoiding USADA.”

Edwards knocked Usman out late in the final round at UFC 278 in August to capture the 170-pound crown. Chimaev missed weight for his last bout forcing a last-minute shakeup to the UFC 279 main card in September. McGregor miraculously hasn’t been being tested by USADA. Burns accused Masvidal of turning down a fight between the two, and Covington hasn’t fought since defeating Masvidal at UFC 272 in March.
