Former UFC, Strikeforce, and current Bellator MMA women’s featherweight champion Cris Cyborg reacted to Kayla Harrison losing to Larissa Pacheco.
Harrison suffered her first career loss in a trilogy match against Pacheco at the 2022 PFL championships on Friday. Pacheco defeated Harrison by unanimous decision with all three judges scoring the fight 48-47 for the Brazilian.
Cyborg reacted to the upset via social media and believes the loss with make Harrison a better fighter.
“Tonight will only make Judo Kayla a better fighter. One thing I learned after going 14 years undefeated is that sometimes you need to lose to become your best. Kayla will be back and she will grow from this experience. Congrats @pachecolarissa_ you are a real World Champion,” Cyborg wrote on Twitter.
