Tracy Cortez pulled from UFC Orlando fight card

A flyweight bout between No. 13 ranked Tracy Cortez and No. 15 ranked Amanda Ribas has been scratched from the UFC Orlando fight card.

Cortez (10-1) officially weighed in on Friday morning without incident. Both Cortes and Ribas (11-3) tipped the scales at an even 125 pounds. Shortly following the weigh-in, Cortez was removed from the event due to undisclosed “medical issues.”

Cortez is a rising star in the women’s flyweight division riding a nine-fight winning streak. It’s unclear whether the match will be rebooked on a future event.
