Jake Paul says he’d knock Conor McGregor out in boxing ‘with one hand tied behind my back’

If former two-division UFC champion Conor McGregor and YouTuber turned professional boxer Jake Paul ever box, Paul says he’d easily beat the Irishman. In fact, Paul claims he would knock McGregor out with one hand behind his back.

McGregor and Paul are two of the most recognizable names in combat sports. It’s a boxing match Paul has wanted and would undoubtedly generate massive interest and boat loads of money. After McGregor recently alluded to making the jump to boxing again, Paul jumped at the opportunity to call out ‘Notorious.’

“You fight for belts? Last time you fought for a belt was 4 years ago. Lost 3 of your last 4 fights. I would knock you out in the squared circle with one hand tied behind my back. To be fair, in the cage I would need two hands. But same result,” Paul wrote on Twitter.

McGregor transitioned to boxing for a one-off match against Floyd Mayweather Jr. in 2017. The two fought at T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas with Mayweather stopping McGregor in the 10th round.
