Ben Askren open to Jake Paul rematch in PFL: ‘I’d love to rub his face in the canvas’

Ben Askren would love to face Jake Paul in a mixed martial arts bout now that ‘The Problem Child’ has signed with the PFL, but his UFC contract prevents it.

Askren was knocked out by Paul in the first round of their boxing match in April 2021. Four of Paul’s six boxing wins are over former UFC fighters. Askren retired from MMA in 2019, but remains under UFC contract. When the idea of a rematch was floated on social media, Askren chimed in.

“Well that would be delightful, but my UFC contract froze when I retired. Lots of hurdles to clear, someone take care of those for me and I’d love to rub his face in the canvas for a while,” said Askren.

Odds for Jake Paul vs. Nate Diaz scrap are already out
