Video: Is it time for MMA to give Jake Paul props after he joined PFL?

Jake Paul is taking his talents to mixed martial arts with the PFL after the YouTuber-turned-professional-boxer signed a deal with the promotion.

Paul signed a multifight contract with the PFL and will compete in a new division known as Super Fight, which is focused on pay-per-view events in which fighters will earn up to 50 percent of the sales. No matchups have been lined up for Paul, who intends to compete in both boxing and MMA this year.

His first order of business as a member of the PFL was to challenge Nate Diaz to a long talked-about boxing match, as well as an MMA fight in the PFL.

“I’m so dedicated to this that I offered Nate Diaz a two-fight deal. First we box. Then six months later we fight MMA in the PFL smart cage and lay it all on the line,” Paul said. “If that’s not balls, then I don’t know what is.”
