UFC 284 weigh-in results and live video stream
RIO DE JANEIRO – MMA Junkie is on scene and reporting live from Friday’s official UFC 284 fighter weigh-ins, which kick off at 6 p.m. ET (3 p.m. PT).
The early weigh-ins take place at the UFC host hotel in Perth, Australia, and precede the ceremonial weigh-ins for the fans, which take place at 10 p.m. ET at RAC Arena in Perth. The same venue hosts Saturday’s event, which has a main card on pay-per-view following prelims on ESPN and early prelims on ESPN+.
Among those weighing in are lightweight champion Islam Makhachev (23-1 MMA, 12-1 UFC) and featherweight titleholder Alexander Volkanovski (25-1 MMA, 12-0 UFC). Makhachev will put his title on the line for the first time against Volkanovski, who will go after a second concurrent title.
In the co-feature, Yair Rodriguez (14-3 MMA, 9-2 UFC) and Josh Emmett (18-2 MMA, 9-2 UFC) fight for an interim featherweight belt just ahead of champ Volkanovski’s quest for a second strap at lightweight.
