At a Combate Global event, Vasquez bounded through the air after a referee stand-up and absolutely obliterated his opponent, Alejandro Gavidia (4-3). An intimate, on-top-of-the-action crowd exploded into a frenzy at the explosive showcase of violence.
For both the average viewer and the knockout connoisseur alike, the optics of his powerful knee and the brutal follow-up punches (albeit unnecessary in the end result) provided one of the most spectacular knockouts in recent memory, regardless of skill level.
