Henry Cejudo wasn’t impressed with Marlon Vera’s performance at all.

UFC San Antonio went down last night (Sat., Mar 25, 2023) from inside AT&T Center in San Antonio, Texas. In the main event, Cory Sandhagen more than likely claimed “Chito’s” No. 3 Bantamweight ranking via unanimous decision (watch highlights).

While the fight was filled with the highest levels of mixed martial arts, former UFC Flyweight and Bantamweight champion, Cejudo wasn’t impressed with the loser of the main event, and he ripped Vera’s takedown defense because Sandhagen landed 3 of 12 takedowns on “Chito” with seven minutes of control time.

Hey [Marlon Vera], your takedown defense is almost as bad as that pu—y on the back of your head,” Cejudo wrote on Twitter immediately after the fight. “Get to the back of the line.”

The loss to Sandhagen isn’t going to drop Vera’s stock too low, but he might have to go to the back of the Bantamweight title line like Ceujdo tweeted.

“Triple C” is unretiring and returns to action for the first time in three years on May 6, 2023, at UFC 288 for the Bantamweight title against Aljamain Sterling.

“The Sandman” has now won two straight since challenging for the Bantamweight title and snapped Vera’s impressive four-fight win streak.
