Elon Musk accepts Georges St-Pierre training him for Mark Zuckerberg fight

As crazy as it sounds, the prospects for a Zuckerberg vs. Musk fight get more real by the day. The latest? Twitter, Tesla, and SpaceX head honcho Elon Musk apparently accepted an offer from UFC Hall of Famer Georges St-Pierre to train him for the bout.

Twitter spat leads to Georges St-Pierre offering to train Elon Musk

This all started by Musk and Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg tossing around what seemed like a joke on Twitter about them agreeing to fight each other. But that joke quickly gained steam when UFC president Dana White got involved.

White told TMZ Sports that he spoke at length to Zuckerberg and Musk, with both men assuring him that they weren’t joking when they agree to fight one another. White, of course, was quick to pounce, saying it would be “the biggest fight ever in the history of the world.”

Since those early hours, UFC fighters have come out of the woodwork hitching their horse to one of the tech titan’s wagons. UFC heavyweight champion Jon Jones wants to train Zuckerberg. Former UFC bantamweight titleholder Dominick Cruz sided with Musk.

Now, UFC Hall of Famer Georges St-Pierre wants to train Musk, whom he tweeted to saying, “I’m a huge fan of yours and it would be an absolute honor to help you and be your training partner for the challenge against Zuckerberg.”

It only took Musk about 48 hours, but he responded, apparently agreeing to accept St-Pierre’s help. 

“Ok, let’s do it,” Musk tweeted.

Is a Zuckerberg vs. Musk fight truly going to come to fruition?

So everyone has agreed that this is a legitimate, real fight. There are offers from every corner of the professional fight world ready to jump in and train the two tech billionaires so they can have a chance at a competitive fight. The president of the most significant fight organization in the world wants to promote it. 

Is this Floyd Mayweather vs. Conor McGregor all over again? Is this fight going to manifest into reality? Only time will tell, but Zuckerberg vs. Musk is quickly gaining stream.
