Conor McGregor is supposed to fight Michael Chandler following their coaching stints on The Ultimate Fighter, Season 31. Matt Frevola doubts that is going to happen, so he has inserted himself into the conversation.
Matt Frevola rants about Conor McGregor
Frevola has been angling for a bout with English fighter Paddy Pimblett, but that fight has yet to get made. Pimblett has been nursing an injury, but is hoping to fight by the end of the year. Frevola seems to doubt that Pimblett wants to fight him.
He also doubts that McGregor is returning to the Octagon any time soon for a fight with Chandler. Frevola went on a Twitter rant, posting a video that aired his doubts about both Pimblett and McGregor. He had some particularly harsh words for the UFC superstar from Ireland.
“McGregor ain’t fighting. Dude’s juiced to the gills, coked up, beating up girls,” Frevola said.
“Michael Chandler, you can keep dreaming because you’re not fighting. But guess who you can fight at MSG? You can take your steamrolling like a man. I’ll give you a glorious death in the arena.”

For his part, Chandler still believes that the McGregor fight is going to come to fruition, even though McGregor has yet to re-enter the U.S. Anti-Doping Agency drug testing protocols. He’s required to do so for six months before he can return to the Octagon.
“I think Conor’s coming back. I don’t think he wants to stain his legacy by leading us all down this road of, ‘I’m doing The Ultimate Fighter. I’m fighting Michael Chandler. Oh, by the way, never mind. I’m not coming back,'” Chandler said on Daniel Cormier’s video podcast.
“I’m gonna keep on moving forward. I do believe I fight Conor within the next six months, and it’s going to be one of the biggest pay-per-views that we have ever seen. I’m gonna go out there and knock him out within the first two rounds.”
