UFC free fight: Alexandre Pantoja batters Brandon Moreno in dominant decision win

Alexandre Pantoja arguably holds the most dominant win over UFC flyweight champion Brandon Moreno, at least in the UFC.

Back in 2018 at UFC Fight Night 129 in Chile, Pantoja handed out Moreno his toughest defeat to date. The Brazilian battered and bloodied Moreno on the feet and the ground to win a dominant decision that read 30–26, 30–26 and 29–27 on the judges’ scorecards.

You can relive the first professional meeting between Pantoja and Moreno in the video above.

Pantoja (25-5 MMA, 9-3 UFC) and Moreno (21-6-2 MMA, 9-3-2 UFC) are set to rematch in the co-main event of UFC 290 on July 8 in Las Vegas.

Moreno is coming off a title unification bout, where he defeated Deiveson Figueiredo to win the tetralogy back in January at UFC 283 in Brazil. Since the loss to Pantoja, Moreno is 7-1-2 – a run that saw him win the UFC flyweight title, lose it and then reclaim it.

On the other hand, Pantoja is 6-2 since defeating Moreno. He is currently on a three-fight winning streak, with his most recent win coming over Alex Perez in July 2022.
