Conor McGregor Tweets Robbie Lawler will fight later this year, Dana White disagrees

Conor McGregor Tweeted after Robbie Lawler’s UFC 290 KO win on Saturday that Lawler would fight again this year. Dana White disagrees.

Dana White’s Response

“The big question now is, is he really done,” asked white at the UFC 290 Post-Fight Press Conference.  

When White was made aware of McGregor’s tweet, he did not agree with the Irishman.  He and Lawler have had many conversations about Lawler retiring and believes it’s permanent.  

“We’ve had a lot of conversations leading up to tonight, and we talked three times tonight.  He won’t (come out of retirement).
