Robbie Lawler knocks out Niko Price in final career UFC bout

Former UFC welterweight champion Robbie Lawler made the walk to the octagon for the twenty-fifth and final time on Saturday taking on Niko Price. 

The 41-year old looked in phenomenal shape. The two started mixing it up early and Lawler connected with a right uppercut, two left hooks, another uppercut and one more left hand to put Price on the canvas.  What a way to end an incredible 22-year career.  The fight only lasted 38 seconds.

 “It was the ending of a career.  I was landing some big shots in good places: temples, chins.  It was too much.” Lawler said after the win.

“I was moving well and it was just nice to end my career like this.”
