Jake Paul latest to call out Conor McGregor for drug use

Conor McGregor has long been the focus of everyone’s attention in the fight world, but lately it is for all the wrong reasons. Add Jake Paul to the list of fighters accusing McGregor of drug use of one type or another.

McGregor should be garnering the lion’s share of his attention right now for coaching on The Ultimate Fighter and for an agreed upon fight with fellow TUF coach Michael Chandler.

That bout, however, hasn’t come to fruition, as McGregor has been too busy avoiding re-entering the U.S. Anti-Doping Program that monitors UFC athletes for potential drug violations. He has instead been turning to social media to call out everyone under the sun, and has continued his string of personal problems outside of the Octagon.

Justing Gaethje dismissed Conor McGregor and called him a cheat

The Irish superstar called out Justin Gaethje following his recent win over Dustin Poirier at UFC 291 in Salt Lake City, Utah. That was met with Gaethje indicating he could care less about McGregor, and that he didn’t want to fight someone on steroids.

“I like to fight big fights. I like exciting things. It sounds pretty exciting to me,” Gaethje said when asked about fighting McGregor.

“(But) I’m not gonna fight someone on steroids. I’ve never taken steroids and I don’t want to fight someone that’s cheating.”

Jake Paul blasts Conor McGregor, says he needs to go to rehab

Jake Paul is the latest fighter calling out McGregor for alleged drug use.

Paul was fresh off his 10-round boxing victory over Nate Diaz in Dallas on Saturday night, when asked what he thought about a potential fight with McGregor. Like Gaethje, he dismissed McGregor.

“I don’t care about (McGregor). He needs to go to rehab,” Paul said, again hinting at an alleged drug problem. “I want Nate (Diaz) in MMA. I want more professional boxers, and I want Canelo (Alvarez).”
