Charles Oliveira to Conor McGregor: ‘All you need to do is tell me the place and time’

After his win over Beneil Dariush in June, Charles Oliveira and Conor McGregor had an exchange on social media.  It seem like every few months the two go after each other on Twitter.

Oliveira says McGregor has been unmotivated for two years and McGregor says Oliveira is a ‘nobody.’

During an appearance on The MMA Hour, Oliveira said that he thinks McGregor wants to fight him, “or he wouldn’t be talking.”

McGregor hasn’t fought since July 2021 when he broke his leg in a trilogy bout with Dustin Poirier.  Oliveira last fought in June and has a championship rematch scheduled for Oct. 21 against titleholder Islam Makhachev.

“I’m here.  I’m just waiting for him (McGregor).  All he needs to do is tell me the place and time and I’ll be there,” Oliveira said.

Oliveira doesn’t know if he and McGregor will eventually face off in the octagon.

“We’ll see.  I don’t know.  I’m here.  Where’s Conor,” Oliveira said.  “170, 183, it doesn’t matter.  All he needs to do is talk and do it.”
