Sean O’Malley trashes MMA managers: ‘These managers are dog sh*t’

Top UFC bantamweight contender Sean O’Malley isn’t a fan of MMA managers and currently represents himself.

“Sugar” recently tweeted that ‘MMA managers are soooo bad,’ and went into further detail during an appearance on The MMA Hour.

“That’s something that I plan on – I’ve got to make good on everything in a row [and] make sure I can say what I can say.  I don’t want to say anything that I’m not legally allowed to say, so I’m going to make sure that that’s all covered,” O’Malley said.

“It’s no secret how managers in MMA are horrible.  They’re asking for percentages of fighters’ bonuses.  It’s just not good.  Something needs to be done.  I said, ‘stay tuned.’  It’s been awhile, but continue to stay tuned.  It will be announced.  Something will drop and hopefully it will change up the game a little bit because these managers are dog sh*t.”

O’Malley represents himself

O’Malley represents himself.  He doesn’t have a manager cutting into his earnings, and he’s happy with the new contract that he negotiated.

“I’ve been representing myself for awhile now.  I’m on a new contract right now going into this title fight.  I sat down with Hunter [Campbell] and negotiated.  It was fun.  I love that sh*t.  I’m very excited, very happy with the new contract and I’m excited to go out there and put Aljo’s lights out and continue to grow the Sugar Show.”

O’Malley headlines UFC 292 on Aug. 19 at TD Garden in Boston against champion Aljamain Sterling.  It’s O’Malley’s first title fight.
