Two-division regional champ Kevin Jousset ready to shine in octagon debut at UFC 293

SYDNEY – Kevin Jousset knows the optics might be a little askew, given he was featured at media day for his first UFC fight.

The two-time Hex Fight Series champion, from France, thinks the UFC brass knows what he brings to the table. Jousset (8-2 MMA, 0-0 UFC) takes on Kiefer Crosbie (10-3 MMA, 0-0 UFC) in a welterweight curtain jerker Saturday. He’ll be hoping to get the event started with a win for New Zealand-based City Kickboxing, where his teammates include middleweight champion Israel Adesanya, who headlines the card.

Jousset talked about that and more at Wednesday’s UFC 293 media day in Sydney.
