Dublin In December? UFC Fighter’s Manager Seemingly Leaks Promotion’s Return To Ireland In 2023

Irish fans have been calling for the UFC to return to Dublin for some time now. It appears they will get their wish, sooner rather than later.

The UFC has not return to Dublin, Ireland since 2015, despite having a handful of shows planned and rumored in the years since. However, the Irish fans rejoiced when Dana White revealed earlier this year, that the promotion hoped to make a return to the republic’s capital in 2024.

Jamie Mullarkey’s Management Leaks UFC Dublin in 2023?

While there has been no more word on a potential UFC Dublin event since that promise from White to return next year, there seems to be something brewing. In fact, it is possible that the Dublin return could be happening sooner than initially anticipated.

Taking to Instagram, HD Global Athlete Management broke the news that their client, UFC lightweight Jamie Mullarkey, had signed a new deal with the promotion after winning at UFC 293. However, things got interesting when they also added that he will hope to compete in his first fight of the new deal this December, in Dublin.

“Pleased to announce @jamie_mullarkey has signed a new multi fight deal with the @ufc

Jamie 3.1.0 in his last 4 fights will be looking to get out next in Ireland šŸ‡®šŸ‡Ŗ in December if we can make it happen.

Congrats Jamie, well deserved šŸ‘šŸ¼” they wrote.

Of course, until any sort of announcement is made by the UFC, things like this should be taken with a fairly heavy grain of salt, as it is easy for wires to get crossed or things to happen that change plans. Nevertheless, this is an interesting sign that the UFC could potentially make a return to Dublin before the year is over.
