Dana White eyeing the Sphere for Mexican Independence Day 2024

America’s newest venue, Sphere at the Venetian in Las Vegas, officially opened on Sept. 29, with U2 holding a concert there.  The state of the art venue received rave reviews from those in attendance.

Opening night drew the attention of Dana White, who was amazed at the lack of complaints.  The Sphere was a hit and it won’t take long for sporting events, concerts, and other entertainment to book the venue.  White already has plans to host Noche UFC there in 2024.

“Everybody was buzzing about the U2 concert on Saturday. They said it was incredible. The guys from MSG, whom I have a great relationship and the guys who own it, MSG does everything right,” said White during DWCS 65 Post-Fight Press Conference.

“From what I hear, the guys at MSG couldn’t have hit a bigger home run with the opening of the Sphere,” continued White.  “First of all, the balls to open that place and do what they’re doing.  Then, to come in and hit an absolute grand slam, home run with the opening. You all know I want that date. That’s what I want. I want to do Mexican Independence Day there. Imagine the show I can put on at the Sphere with Mexican Independence Day. So yeah, we’ll f**king put on an incredible show in that amazing arena for the next Mexican Independence Day. I’m very excited about it.”
