Fighters react to bizarre events in Logan Paul vs. Dillon Danis clash which led to post-fight brawl

Logan Paul vs. Dillon Danis may not have lived up to the huge expectations fans placed on it but it was certainly one of the most memorable fights in recent time. 

In the build-up to the bout, Danis grew to new heights of fame for his constant attack on Nina Agdal, the wife-to-be of Logan. This was only the beginning, as the two came to blows during their press conference which resulted in the jiu-jitsu specialist opening up a cut on his opponent’s face.

Although Logan promised to decapitate his foe and Danis had to back up his months of pre-fight antics, the six-round affair was much less entertaining than thought to be. It wasn’t only the fans who were disappointed with the showing, as fighters too reacted to the abysmal co-main event display.

Most either shared their annoyance at how the boxing match unfolded or made fun of the two athletes.

And then you have Conor McGregor. The Irishman shed praise on his former training partner, insisting Danis put on a show. ‘The Notorious’ then claimed that the world is looking forward to what the 2016 Pan Jiu-Jitsu No-Gi Champion is going to do next.

What’s next for Dillon Danis?

There’s a general consensus that Dillon Danis embarrassed himself more by fighting as he did than if he never actually turned up to fight at all. From his inactivity in the ring to his attempts to wrestle, the 30-year-old’s lack of boxing experience was on show to the world and it wasn’t pretty.

The most memorable moments inside the squared circle for the New Jersey native were his attempts at wrestling Logan to the ground and when he jumped the guillotine choke, two illegal maneuvers that he failed miserably at.

It’s unclear what Danis will get himself into next, but the undefeated MMA star has called for a rematch with Logan Paul inside the cage. The trash-talker is desperate to get the win back and believes his opponent will be no match for him in the sport of mixed martial arts.
