Jake Calls Bluff On Logan’s Retirement

Logan Paul shocked social media earlier this week when he announced he’s retiring from the sport of boxing, but little brother, Jake Paul, isn’t convinced that will actually happen.

Paul, who is one of the most recognizable social media influencers in the world today, has made a killing over the past few years as a part-time professional boxer and full-time pro wrestler with World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE). He has quickly carved out a spot within the combat community and is certainly someone fight fans want to watch compete (for better or worse).

However, Paul seems reluctant to prolong his boxing career as more and more promotions exit the fight game. Paul is coming off a long-awaited showdown against Dillon Danis this past October — which ended in complete and utter disaster (see HERE) — but he doesn’t believe there’s much left to accomplish inside of the squared circle.

“Yeah, I think I’m retired from boxing,” Paul told Fox Business earlier this week. “I think I’ve done enough in this sport, going fully undefeated at 25-0. So yeah, I’m going to be a wrestler now. No more money in boxing, every company is going broke. So … full-time wrestler. Beat Rey Mysterio, fair and square, for the U.S. Championship.”

Jake Paul, who has dedicated even more time into becoming a legitimate professional boxer, isn’t convinced that his brother will hang up the gloves for good. The younger Paul has a better stranglehold on today’s boxing scene, but he feels that Logan simply has too much fight left to walk away.

“I don’t believe that,” Paul said Wednesday on The MMA Hour. “I don’t know when he’ll fight, but he’s just got so much fight in him. He’s going into his athletic prime. I think he’s going to fight again, for sure.”

What do you think, Maniacs? Have we seen the last of Logan Paul inside of the boxing ring?
