Video: Soy Sauce?! Fighter Doused During Liquidy Press Conference Attack

South Korea’s Road FC provided a first earlier today (Weds., Nov. 22, 2023).

Road FC 67 is set to take place in Seoul, South Korea on Dec. 16, 2023. Ahead of the event, the promotion held a pre-fight press conference, highlighting some of the match ups taking place.

Amongst the mix was a pair of Lightweight prospects, Hyung Bin Yoon and Japan’s Niki Shoyu. Yoon is 1-0 in his career, returning to action for the first time since his debut knockout win over Takaya Tsukada in 2014. Yoon welcomes Shoyu to Road FC in what will be his career debut. To get the action started early, Shoyu used the pre-fight presser to go and dump soy sauce on his opponent’s head while seemingly trying to attack him before being restrained. Road FC has been one of the premier promotions in South Korea since its start in 2010. Historically, it has been devoid of wild antics as seen between Yoon and Shoyu.
