McGregor Predicts ‘Landslide Victory’ For Katie Taylor Rematch

Conor McGregor is predicting a “landslide victory” for Katie Taylor when the Irish boxing sensation meets Chantelle Cameron in an anticipated rematch later tonight (Sat., Nov. 25, 2023) live on DAZN from inside 3Arena in Dublin, Ireland. On the line will be the WBA, WBC, IBF, WBO and The Ring female light-welterweight titles as Taylor takes another shot at becoming a two-weight undisputed world champion.

Remember, Taylor tasted her first professional defeat at the hands of Cameron this past May. The two fighters went toe-to-toe in one of the best female boxing matches of the year. Unfortunately for Taylor, Cameron did just a little more on the judges’ scorecards to walk away with a majority decision win and stop Taylor from capturing more belts in another division. Ironically, this was also the first time Taylor fought in front of her home crowd of Ireland.

On Saturday, Taylor will have her opportunity to right the ship and avenge the only loss on her illustrious boxing record. It’s a big moment for the Irish fighter and a weekend event that has sparked the interest of McGregor, who has long followed Taylor and has been a huge supporter over the years.

McGregor offered up the following message and prediction ahead of Taylor vs. Cameron 2:

We’ll have to wait and see if McGregor’s words have any impact on Taylor’s performance on Saturday night. Despite her status as one of the best female boxers of all time the Irish lightweight champion is a slight betting underdog for her rematch with Cameron, who currently remains undefeated with a 18-0 professional record.
