“Platnum” is not impressed with “The Underground King’s” street fight record.

Mike Perry and Eddie Alvarez throw down in the main event Bare Knuckle Fighting Championship 56 (BKFC 56) next week (Sat., Dec. 2, 2023) from inside Maverik Center in Salt Lake City, Utah. The pair of former UFC fighters will be fighting for the “King of Violence” title.

Since signing with BKFC last year, Alvarez has brought up his history with street fights, claiming he’s had more street fights than MMA fights – 40. Which is believable, but when “The Underground King,” said he has had more street fights than Perry, the mixed martial arts (MMA) fighter turned bare-knuckle brawler laughed at him.

“Come on, man. We all saw Jersey Shore, bro,” Perry told MMAMania.com recently. “We all saw Ronnie and Pauly D, and Mike [The Situation], out there in the Jersey Shore. They weren’t really fighting out there, bro. Not like this. Not like that. So, you know, Eddie, listen, the main point is, I am in no way just a fighter of a guy on the street. That’s totally different, bro. I end those in like 10 seconds. Those are over quick. And you know, I’m out of there. So, for this one, I’m going to try to do that. I guess I’m gonna try to get him up out of there. And it’s easy work, bro.”

Perry has seen his fair share of public street fights like the time he knocked out a drunk guy outside of a bar.

Nevertheless, streetfighting aside, the two will battle in less than a week with nothing but their bare knuckles.

Perry told MMAMania that he will “absolutely” finish the former UFC Lightweight champion.

“I’m going to finish Eddie. I’m gonna bust him up, dog.”
