Like Cypress Hill said, I ain’t goin’ out like that.

Paige VanZant did not have the best start — or finish — to her bareknuckle boxing career, posting a dreadful 0-2 record under the BKFC banner in 2021. But “12 Gauge” is expected to make her return “for at least one more fight” in 2024.

“We just had a conversation with her management team about two weeks ago on it,” BKFC President David Feldman told MMA Junkie. “They said, ‘Just give us a date, but we want at least three months notice because she wants to be in great shape for this one and make sure she can concentrate on her training.’ So there is a very, very good probability that you’re going to see Paige VanZant back with BKFC for at least one more fight.”

VanZant, 29, parted ways with UFC after a submission loss to Amanda Ribas back in summer 2020. She would eventually find her way to the bareknuckle arena but failed to stay there, thanks to an injury suffered during a social media stunt.

An exact timeline for her in-ring return has yet to be determined.
