Goldy struggled in the UFC but seems to be finding her footing in the grappling world with a solid performance at FPI 5.

Former UFC fighter and OnlyFans model Hannah Goldy got herself back on the winning path Sunday night at Fight Pass Invitational 5, catching her opponent Amanda Mazza with an armbar less than two minutes into their match.

After some tentative hand fighting, Goldy jumped guard on Mazza and attacked with a triangle that Mazza avoided. She stayed aggressive, going for two armbars before launching another triangle that set up a bit of an unusual straight armlock. Mazza was forced to tap.

Following the submission win, Goldy took to Instagram to declare “I love jitsu.”

“Wherever life plants you, bloom with grace,” she added in another social media post.

Goldy was recently released by the UFC after a 1-4 run in the promotion. The 31-year-old was just 4-0 in her pro MMA career when she got called in to fight on the 2019 Contender Series, and believes some extra seasoning is what she needs.

“I would definitely like to get some regional fights and just kind of build my confidence and build my skills against girls that aren’t UFC caliber,” Goldy told MMA Mania leading in to FPI 5. “Because I’ve been trying to become the best version of myself against the best girls in the world. And I do believe that I got thrown into the UFC a bit early.”

Goldy’s participation on the Fight Pass Invitational card implies she’s still got a solid relationship with the UFC, and her win hopefully sets up more appearances at grappling events. Earlier this year she headlined Eddie Bravo’s Medusa 4 event, losing via armbar to Madelynne Wade in overtime.
