LAS VEGAS – The UFC 296 pre-fight news conference takes place Thursday, and MMA Junkie will have a live stream of the event beginning at 8 p.m. ET (5 p.m. PT).

The entire main card is scheduled to be in attendance, including Leon Edwards and Colby Covington, who fight for the welterweight title in the main event; Alexandre Pantoja, who puts the flyweight title on the line vs. Brandon Royval in the co-main event; and the remaining matchups of Shavkat Rakhmonov vs. Stephen Thompson and Tony Ferguson vs. Paddy Pimblett.

It was announced late Wednesday that Vicente Luque no longer had an opponent in Ian Machado Garry, who no-showed Wednesday’s media day, which left some drama about whether he’d appear at the press conference. But UFC CEO Dana White said he has pneumonia, which took him out of the fight.

UFC 296 takes place Saturday at T-Mobile Arena. The main card airs on pay-per-view following prelims on ESPN2 and early prelims on ESPN+.
