KSI Reacts To Paul’s KO Win: ‘He Fought A Cab Driver’

Jake Paul delivered one of the best knockout finishes of his young career last night against Andre August, but fellow social media influencer, KSI, was not impressed.

Paul, who has dedicated most of his free time to training and getting better inside of the ring, just wanted to gain some experience on Friday night. It wasn’t a massive matchup on paper or a pay-per-view (PPV) event. It was a chance for Paul to fight and dip his toes even deeper into the boxing pool.

Luckily, “Problem Child” lived up to his billing and produced a sensational first-round knockout. He connected on a nasty uppercut that instantly put August onto the canvas. August couldn’t regain himself after a nine count and the fight was waved off. Paul, who has finished the likes of Tyron Woodley and Ben Askren throughout his career, walked away with a massive knockout before the close of the year.

Most were impressed by his performance, but that doesn’t include his social media rival, KSI. Oddly enough, KSI had his own event Friday night as he fought YouTube sensation, Speed, in a weird sparring match (results HERE). After learning about Paul’s victory, KSI downplayed his efforts and reminded fight fans that “Problem Child” was fighting a tomato can.

“Am i shocked?” asked KSI (shown above). “No. We all know that Jake just looks for super easy fights and he fought a cab driver. It is what it is.

“I don’t really care about him. I didn’t even know he was fighting at the same time as me.”

It’s unknown at this time what is next for both influencers/boxers, but it makes sense for them to finally fight in 2024. They’ve danced around a matchup for far too long and are running out of other options to help sell fights. If for some reason Paul vs. KSI isn’t booked next year then we all need to move on from this rivalry.
