UFC 297 video: Sean Strickland, Dricus Du Plessis separated in first faceoff

LAS VEGAS – UFC 297 features a middleweight title bout and the two competitors faced off Friday at MGM Grand Garden Arena.

Following the conclusion of the UFC’s six-man season press conference, middleweight champion Sean Strickland (28-5 MMA, 15-5 UFC) faced off with next title challenger Dricus Du Plessis (20-2 MMA, 6-0 UFC). UFC 297 takes place Jan. 20 at Scotiabank Arena and streams on pay-per-view.

Strickland and Du Plessis exchanged heated words during the press conference and were quickly separated by security as tensions continued to ride high during their first faceoff.
