LAS VEGAS, NEVADA – Jim Miller has options.

Last night at UFC Vegas 84 (Sat., Jan. 13, 2024), Miller added to his UFC record-setting mantle by picking up his 26th win inside of the promotion by tapping out Gabriel Benitez in the third round with a crushing face crank from inside the UFC Apex in Las Vegas (watch highlights).

After his Performance of the Night winning fight, Miller called out Paul Felder, Matt Brown, and Brock Lesnar as potential opponents for UFC 300.

During the UFC Vegas 84 post-fight press conference (watch here), Miller backtracked a little bit and favored a fight with Brown above Felder.

“I don’t know [if I want to fight Felder at UFC 300]. I don’t know. You know, like, Paul and I almost fought in 2015. You know, I think that fight would be brutal like that is a brutal fight, with me and him locked in a cage for 15 minutes,” Miller said. “I also think that a Matt Brown fight is amazing as well; I think it’s awesome. Because one, I don’t have to cut weight, and two, he’s the guy with the most finishes in Welterweight, and I’m the guy with the most finishes in Lightweight. Like, that’s a fight for 300, right?

Like, let’s put on a show, let’s go out, let’s entertain. I’m willing to move up in weight for that type of event. It’s not like I’m trying to, you know, get my ranking up or anything like that…So, I want to put on an epic show with two badass dudes that have been around for a bit, and I think Matt might be that guy.”

Miller vs. Brown is the embodiment of violence and would make a perfect fight at UFC 300. Brown is coming off a one-punch knockout of Court McGee and holds the most knockouts in Welterweight history and second most knockouts in UFC history. Meanwhile, Miller holds the most first-round finishes in UFC history and the most finishes in Lightweight history.

Of course, if he wants Felder, he is most likely down to scrap.
