Joe Rogan SLAMS Canada’s Prime Minister, supporting anti-Trudeau chants at UFC 297

Justin Trudeau has been serving as the Canadian prime minister since 2015 with mixed feelings from the country’s citizens. Joe Rogan is the latest to oppose the politician during his fight companion for UFC 297.

Rogan has built himself a platform on his podcast that welcomes people from all walks of life to discuss various intriguing topics. When he’s not accompanied by the Elon Musks of the world, the UFC commentator sits down with friends and discusses daily topics while reacting to modern-day gladiators slug it out inside a cage.

That was the case this past weekend when Joe Rogan was joined by Brendan Schaub, Eddie Bravo, and Joey Diaz. While sitting to watch UFC 297, loud ‘f*** Trudeau’ chants began ringing out from the crowd to Rogan’s enjoyment.

Strangely enough, Joe Rogan isn’t the first man associated with the UFC to call out Justin Trudeau this week.

Ahead of his title fight at UFC 297, Sean Strickland blasted a reporter who he believed was in support of Trudeau. The former middleweight champion labeled the media member an ‘infection’ and insisted he was part of the problem for being pro-Justin Trudeau.

Strickland continued to fire shots at the Canadian prime minister for shutting down the country and seizing the bank accounts of his people. The 185er may be controversial but he is a proud supporter of free speech, though he is not the only one who is.

As we’ve seen in the past—with Sean Strickland and Colby Covington being just two of many—UFC fighters take to the mic and say what’s on their mind no matter how problematic.

Dead relatives, people’s children, and serious political issues are just some of the things being spoken about by some fighters but that is unlikely to change anytime soon.

When asked about keeping his fighters on a leash, Dana White hit back and revealed his support for free speech. The UFC CEO insisted there would never be limitations put on what the athletes believe and what they have to say during their time in the spotlight.
