Dana White reacts to Sean Strickland and Machine Gun Kelly altercation

Hours after video emerged of him handing social media influencer Sneako a beatdown during a sparring session at the UFC PI in Las Vegas, former middleweight champion Sean Strickland was in a verbal altercation with musician Machine Gun Kelly.  

The two were in attendance for Friday’s celebrity-packed Power Slap event at Durango Casino & Resort.  Strickland called MGK a “weird dude” and insulted his attire.  MGK leaned in a said something to Strickland that agitated the former champion.  Strickland replied and while walking away said, “I’m easy to find, vampire man.”  Part of the incident was caught on camera. 

During the Power Slap post-fight press conference, Power Slap promoter and UFC CEO Dana White reacted to altercation between Strickland and MGK.  

“You can’t bring Sean Strickland around any other human beings,” White said.  “You know what I mean? It has nothing to do with Machine Gun Kelly. It’s about humans.”

The Power Slap event kicked off an eventful weekend for White and the city of Las Vegas.  Super Bowl LVIII weekend kicked off with a White-promoted Power Slap event on Friday. Saturday features the UFC Vegas 86 fight card on ESPN and of course the Super Bowl is at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas on Sunday.
