Kansas City Chiefs lifted their fourth Super Bowl as they brushed aside the San Francisco 49ers on Sunday. As the thrilling game unfolded, UFC fighters took to social media to share their reactions to the epic showcase.

Each year, the Super Bowl takes the nation by storm and sees millions come together to watch who will be crowned as the year’s champion. Among those millions are some of UFC’s elite and they certainly aired their thoughts on the outcome.

The Chiefs battled their way to a win over the 49ers in what is being considered an instant classic between two of the very best in the sport. Despite the praise for Patrick Mahomes and co., Nate Diaz led the way in support of the 49ers.

The majority hailed the Chiefs’ victory—which is their third time lifting the Super Bowl in just five years. Former UFC middleweight Derek Brunson showed his support for Patrick Mahomes.

“Chiefs win! Michael Jordan – Steph Curry – Patrick Mahomes! Them sides are just different. Unreal.”

“This was the Chiefs’ worst team. NFL teams are in trouble next year!” Brunson said following the outcome of Super Bowl LVIII. “They will sure up their holes, vets will take less to play with Mahomes.”

Alongside Brunson, others followed in congratulating the Super Bowl champions.

Was there a UFC 300 announcement at Super Bowl LVIII?
