Chris Weidman has by far the most odd moments in the UFC

So, this is in no way a dig at Chris Weidman, I am actually a huge fan of him and I believe I have probably watched almost all of his fights. But man does he have odd moments in the UFC.

First fight with Silva: he knocks out Silva with a left hook while Silva had his hands down and taughting him. Additionally, Weidman only had one TKO up until this moment in his UFC career. Who would have thought it would end like that? A wrestler KOing the best striker of all time.

Second fight: Once again knocks down Silva, then checks his leg and breaks it. This is literally the second time it has ever happened in the UFC.

Fast forward to his fight with Rockhold: back and forth striking battle until he throws a wheel kick? Who saw that coming. Then he gets taken down and mounted until a TKO. Odd no doubt.

Fast forward to his fight with Mousasi: gets hit with legal knees, ref thinks they’re illegal, replay showed theyre actually legal, fight ends right there in a TKO. Odd.

Fast forward to his fight with Uriah Hall: breaks his leg this time in just 17 seconds. Third time this has ever happened in the UFC. Crazy coincidence. ODD.

Now after last weekend: winning a fight against Silva easily, however eye pokes him twice. Until the third round where he lands a 1-2 eyepoke combo and finished him via TKO. These things happen on occasion, (Santiago Ponzinibbio vs Gunnar Nelson) for example. But seems so Chris Weidman’y for something like this to happen during a fight.

Are there fighters with this many odd moments in the sport?
