Dana White: UFC 300 performance bonuses increased six-fold to $300,000
LAS VEGAS – UFC CEO Dana White heard the fighters’ demands Thursday at the UFC 300 pre-fight news conference and obliged.
After recent campaigns by Justin Gaethje and Max Holloway to increase the performance bonuses from $50,000 to $300,000, White was asked by MMA Junkie reporter Mike Bohn about the potential increase.
The proposed question riled up a handful of the 26 fighters on stage at T-Mobile Arena, who nudged White into agreeing.
“300, it’s done,” White said.

UFC 300 will mark the largest official performance bonuses in the promotion’s history.
The value of UFC performances has largely remained steady at $50,000, the promotion has increased the amount on a few rare occasions. At UFC 100 in 2009, the promotion gave out $100,000 bonuses. For UFC 129 in 2011, it distributed $129,000 bonuses. At UFC 262 in 2021, it went with $75,000.
