Holly Holm vs. Kayla Harrison prediction, pick, start time, odds for UFC 300

Holly Holm and Kayla Harrison meet Saturday on the preliminary card of UFC 300 from T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas. Check out this quick breakdown of the matchup from MMA Junkie analyst Dan Tom.

Holly Holm vs. Kayla Harrison UFC 300 preview

Holm (15-6 MMA, 8-6 UFC) and Harrison (16-1 MMA, 0-0 UFC) enter the UFC 300 stage as the second of three women’s bouts on the card. The winner of the bantamweight bout will likely be in consideration for a title shot next. … Holm was submitted by Mayra Bueno Silva last July, but that result has since been overturned to a no contest due to her opponent failing a drug test. As a result, the former champion is technically entering on the heels of a dominant victory over Yana Santos last March. … Harrison’s UFC debut is upon us, and the former two-time PFL champion and Olympic gold medalist will look to make a splash in not only her first fight in the octagon, but her first fight after a big cut to bantamweight.

Holly Holm vs. Kayla Harrison expert pick, prediction

Kayla Harrison will be making her promotional debut opposite former UFC bantamweight champion, Holly Holm.

Even though I can understand why Harrison is favored, I have a hard time swallowing the wide betting spread. But the volatility of the women’s MMA betting market aside, I suspect that Holm is more live than what the odds are indicating.

A Harrison decision via domination wouldn’t necessarily surprise me, but I’ll take Holm to survive the storms on the floor and utilize the larger octagon to her advantage on the feet.

The pick is Holm via unanimous decision.

Holly Holm vs. Kayla Harrison odds

The odds are very wide for this one with Harrison set as a -430 favorite and Holm as a +340 underdog, according to FanDuel.
