Barber Was Ready To ‘Lay This Lady Out’ In Viral Video

“The Future” was fully prepared to go to jail after a late night run-in with an aggressive woman nearly turned violent.

Maycee Barber is sharing all the details on her viral encounter with a seemingly intoxicated “Karen” who recently tried to pick a fight with her in a parking lot.

Barber’s friend, Demi Bagby, initially posted video of the confrontation on social media, and if there’s anything the internet loves, it’s aggressive people (nearly) getting bodied because they messed with the wrong person. Barber is ranked No. 4 at women’s Flyweight and is on a five-fight win streak in UFC.

She could have pasted this belligerent individual, but chose peace this night.

“As soon as we go around this little roundabout to find parking, this lady comes running out of her house and gets on Demi’s car,” Barber told TMZ Sports. “And at first, I was like, ‘Oh, they must be friends.’ Like sure, I’ll wait here while they talk to their friend. Then I noticed this lady’s heated. Like, she’s going at them.”

“We’re trying to mind our own business and go get a burrito,” Bagby added. “We’re parking the car, and this lady just walks up to our truck. I’m like, this is weird. What is this? Why is she even up right now [at 1 a.m.]? And then she starts, like, banging on our car … She’s like, ‘You can’t be here, blah blah blah.’ And I’m like, ‘What do you mean? We literally park here every day.’ It was just super weird. She’s high or drunk, she’s something.”

The woman refused to leave and Barber started filming in case things went sideways, so she could prove she didn’t just beat up some random lady for no reason.

“I was getting ready, I’m like, ‘I’m gonna have to call Dana [White] and explain to him why I’m going to jail because I had to lay this lady out,’” Barber said. “I literally have a text thread with Dana telling him that. I’m like, ‘Dude, I thought I was gonna have to call you tonight and be like hey, come help me out, I need to get out of jail.’

“I had my phone out recording, I’m cracking up because I think it’s hilarious,” Barber continued. “And this lady’s like, ‘If you touch me, I’ll bust your face.’ I was like, ‘Oh, you don’t want to touch her, don’t touch her.’ And then she’s like, ‘I’ll beat both your motherf—ing asses,’ and I was like, ‘Oh hell no.’

“I can’t be the first one to swing,” she added. “But, I would love to put someone in their place and just embarrass them, because those kind of people, they think that they can tell you what to do. It’s like, dude, no. You just think you run the world, and you don’t. I wanted to so bad, but you have to have the restraint to not just hurt someone.”

Things calmed down when Bagby informed the woman that Barber was a UFC fighter. At that point, she wisely stopped messing with their truck and withdrew back from whence she came. We have no news on whether Barber and Bagby ended up getting those burritos, but we’ll reach out and update you once we know.
