UFC 301 medical suspensions: Four fighters receive 180 days but not Jack Shore for leg wound

UFC 301 took place Saturday at Jeunesse Arena in Rio de Janeiro and featured 13 fights.

Of the 26 competitors who fought on the card, 17 have been suspended at least 30 days by the Brazilian MMA Athletic Commission (CABMMA) due to injuries or potential injuries sustained in their bouts. And of those 17, four suspensions – issued to Ismael Bonfim, Kevin Borjas, Dione Barbosa, and Drakkar Klose – were for 180 days pending medical clearance.

Not among the 180-day terms? Jack Shore, who lost by TKO after the cageside doctor stopped his fight with Joanderson Brito because of a nasty gash to his left leg that caused blood to streak down to his foot. The doctor stopped the fight believing Shore could have a broken leg, which wasn’t the case.

On Monday, MMA Junkie acquired a full list of the medical suspensions from CABMMA governance and compliance director Luis Felipe Siqueira.

Check out a full list of UFC 301 medical suspensions below. It’s important to note fighters can return prior to the conclusion of their designated terms should they be cleared by a physician (unless noted otherwise).
