After a year and a half off, Till intends to box three or four times in 2024 against a mix of big name fighters and influencers.

Darren Till has been keeping quiet over the past several months as he prepares himself for a comeback in boxing. His lack of fights hasn’t been due to a lack of offers. Recently, “Platinum” Mike Perry claims “The Gorilla” turned down a $2 million offer from BKFC to fight him.

Even Till claims he’s shrugged off offers to fight Logan and Jake Paul over the past year. But now he’s ready to move forward and make some moves.

“A lot of people been calling me out lately,” he wrote on an Instagram video of him working the mitts. “And I’m going to f—ing batter every last one of yas.”

In an April podcast with Ben Heath, Till promised to share some big fight news in a few weeks’ time. It’s been three weeks since then, and we have no firm announcements … but there are rumors that Darren could end up boxing KSI under the Misfits Boxing banner sometime this summer.

That lines up with some of what he was telling Heath.

“Influencers, fighters, it’s going to be a slash,” Till said regarding his future opponents. “If I’m looking at a professional boxing fight and getting paid thirty, forty grand, and then looking at these influencer fights where they’re generating millions? I’m a big name as well. It’s just a no-brainer to take that kind of fights.”

“So they’re the fights we’re targeting, your Tommy Furys, your Jake Pauls.”

It wasn’t all YouTubers and Influencers on Till’s hit list, though.

“Obviously the biggest fight I want is Mike Perry,” he said. “Me and him are destined to fight. It’s been … six years? [Jorge] Masvidal was talking the other day about fighting me, getting that rematch. On home soil, he said he’d come to Liverpool. So these are all massive fights, and as soon as I have my first fight announced I’ll be chasing all that.”

Till also included pictures of Vitor Belfort and Thiago Santos in his Instagram declaration. All those names sounds great in theory, but at this point he needs to actually sign a fight against one of these guys. Any of them. A bird in the hand is worth a dozen in the bush, especially after a year and a half.
