After a Lightweight fight between Drakkar Klose and Beneil Dariush — which was set to go down earlier this year at UFC Fight Night 155 — was scrapped due to an injury suffered by Beneil — Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) has re-booked the matchup.

According to Raphael Marinho, Klose and Dariush have been re-booked to throw down at the upcoming UFC 248 pay-per-view (PPV) event, which is set to go down at UFC 248 on March 7, 2020 in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Klose is currently riding a three fight win streak and has five of his six fights inside the Octagon. A couple of notable victories came over Bobby green and Lando Vannata, with his lone loss coming against David Teymur at UFC 218.

Dariush, meanwhile, is also the owner of three straight wins, defeating Drew Dober, Frank Camacho and Thiago Moises. In his last two outings, Beneil scored “Fight of the Night” performances, proving that once the cage door closes behind him, he’s all business.

A win for either man could be just what he needs to crack the top 15.

UFC 238 currently features a women’s Flyweight title fight as division queen, Weili Zhang, will defend her strap for the first time against former champion, Joanna Jedrzejczyk. Also on the card, former Middleweight champion Robert Whittaker will throw down against Jared Cannonier.
