Masvidal ‘Blessed’ For Super Bowl Performance

Jorge Masvidal is getting a lot of mileage out of his Dan Smyers joke.

One half of the group Dan + Shay, Smyers grew out his hair (and beard) and bears a striking resemblance to the UFC welterweight contender, who also went to the Smyers well for last month’s Grammy awards.

Dan + Shay performed onstage during the Bud Light Super Bowl Music Fest back on Feb. 1, 2020 in Miami, Florida, not far from where the Kansas City Chiefs beat the San Fransisco 49ers at Super Bowl 54.

And let that final score be a lesson for future teams who may feel compelled to pose for a group photo in the end zone during a 10-point game.

Scoring is not the same as winning.

Anyway, Masvidal will have to abandon his fake nationwide tour to focus on his upcoming title fight against Kamaru Usman, which is expected to go down this July in Las Vegas.
