With little left to do during self quarantine sessions to combat the spread of the coronavirus, UFC fighters have been taking to social media to interact with their fans.

This applies to current UFC light heavyweight champion Jon Jones, who is no stranger to mixing it up on Twitter. Jones took to social media earlier today (Sat., Mar. 21, 2020) to deliver a positive message to everyone currently dealing with the affects of COVID-19.

Check it out below courtesy of Instagram:

“Right now, our part is to stay at home, stay happy, stay positive, keep our positive mindset and positive outlook. I promise you, we’ll get through this thing,” said Jones.

Jones, who has been trying to regain the trust of his fans following all of his out-of-cage incidents over the years, was one of only a few fighters to disagree with UFC’s attempt to still host events during the coronavirus pandemic. Jones has done his best to show support for his fellow Albuquerque residents and give the best advice a UFC champion can during such difficult times.

As Jones self quarantines to prevent exposure to the coronavirus he’ll have extended time to review his recent title defense against Dominick Reyes at UFC 247. Many people believe Reyes did enough to win that bout and ultimately deserves a rematch against “Bones.” Jones has been great in rematches — evident by what he did to Daniel Cormier and Alexander Gustafsson the second time around – but he’ll have his hands full once again if the “Devastator” reboot is booked.
