Dana White admits he is not a TV person.
During the COVID-19 pandemic, however, even White got swept up in “Tiger King” mania. The UFC president said he doesn’t use Netflix often, but decided to see what all the Joe Exotic and Carole Baskin fuss was about.
In a recent episode of “UFC Unfiltered,” White explained his experience watching the smash hit Netflix series and gave his review.
Spoiler alert: The review was not positive.
“I tried to watch the “Tiger King.” I don’t have Netflix or any of that (expletive). I turned it on and it ends and I’m like, ‘Wait a minute. There’s (expletive) more than one of these? I’ve got to watch more than one of this stupid (expletive)?”
White couldn’t tolerate watching the remaining episodes after the series premiere, so what did the UFC president do? He fast-forwarded to the season finale, and watched episode eight.
“I watched No. 1 and No. 8,” White said. “… Bunch of (expletive) goofballs, man. There is no way I’m watching (expletive) eight episodes of this (expletive).”
While it doesn’t sound like White will be diving back into Netflix anytime soon, he did say everyone has been suggesting he check out “Ozark.”.White reiterated that television is not for him.
