Liddell, Rockhold Star In ‘Cagefighter: Worlds Collide’

Former Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) light heavyweight champion, Chuck Liddell, will star alongside ex-middleweight kingpin, Luke Rockhold, in the delightfully awful Cagefighter: Worlds Collide movie.

Which now has an official trailer.

“It was a wacky menagerie of people,” AEW wrestler Jon Moxley, who stars as Randy Stone, told Mirror Sport. “Alex Montagnani who plays the MMA character is a legit pro fighter and this is one of his first big breaks in acting. Chuck Liddell is the baddest of all badass MMA fighters. He was cool and chill. There’s lots of downtime between shots, so shooting the shit with Chuck was the coolest thing ever.”

Not nearly as cool as this cameo.

Cagefighter: Worlds Collide, also starring longtime Hollywood actress Gina Gershon, tells the story of an MMA fighter taking on a pro wrestler who can actually fight, or something like that, in a major combat sports promotion.

The movie premieres May 16 on pay-per-view.
