O’Malley (12-0 MMA, 4-0 UFC) has looked outstanding since emerging as a potential star of the future in Dana White’s Contender Series, and now the 25-year-old will look to move one step closer to the division’s big names with victory over Ecuador’s Vera (17-6-1 MMA, 9-5 UFC), who is looking to bounce back into the win column following his May defeat to Song Yadong at UFC on ESPN 8.
