Stipe Miocic proved himself the most decorated heavyweight champion in history on Saturday when he defeated Daniel Cormier in their anticipated trilogy bout at UFC 252.

Miocic (20-3 MMA, 14-3 UFC) earned the first defense of his second reign when he sent his rival Cormier (22-3 MMA, 11-3 UFC) into retirement with a unanimous decision victory in the pay-per-view headliner, which took place at UFC Apex in Las Vegas. With the win, Miocic takes the trilogy 2-1.
