Malcolm Gordon vs. Su Mudaerji targeted for UFC event on Nov. 28

A 125-pound fight is in the works for the UFC’s final event of November.

The promotion is targeting Malcolm Gordon and Su Mudaerji to fight at its upcoming event on Nov. 28. The event’s location and venue have yet to be announced.

Sources with knowledge of the situation confirmed the targeted booking to MMA Junkie on Saturday, but they asked to remain anonymous as the promotion has yet to make an official announcement.

TSN was the first to report the targeted booking.

Gordon (12-4 MMA, 0-1 UFC) lost his short-notice debut at UFC on ESPN+ 30 in July. Taking on Amir Albazi, Gordon, a former TKO champion, was submitted in the first round. Prior to his promotional debut, Gordon had won four straight fights.

Mudaerji (12-4 MMA, 1-1 UFC) bounced back from his debut loss with a victory over Andre Soukhamthath by unanimous decision at UFC on ESPN+ 15 in August. The 24-year-old flyweight fighter has won all 11 of his other professional MMA victories inside the distance.
